Depth - Quilt of the Week

This quilt was made in 2016 for the Island Batik's Seaside Summer Blog Hop. To go with the theme of Seaside Summer, my inspiration was how water in a swimming pool looks with the sunlight reflecting off of it, or how it looks from below.

I cut my fabric into long strips, sewed them together, then cut triangle shapes from the strips. You can read more about the specific process (and catch a sneak peek at next week's #QuiltOfTheWeek) on the original blog post.
