Local art exhibits for July and August

In addition to being the featured artist at Village Artisans in Yellow Springs, Ohio this month, I also have quilts out in other exhibitions.

"Three Trees," 12" x 12"

My art quilt "Three Trees" is in the Dayton Visual Art Center's 21st Annual Open Members' Show "No Borders." The show is open July 13-August 18, 2012 and can be viewed Tuesdays through Saturdays from 11 am to 6 pm at 18 N. Jefferson St. in Dayton, Ohio. There will be an artist reception on  Friday, July 13, from 5-8 pm.

"Sometimes I Dream of Flying," 38" x 41"

"Sometimes I Dream of Flying" is in Aullwood Audubon's 20th Annual Art Quilt Exhibit "The Good Earth." The show is open until August 19 and can be viewed Mondays through Saturdays from 9 am to 5 pm and on Sundays from 1 to 5 pm at the Marie S. Aull Education Center at 1000 Aullwood Rd. in Dayton, Ohio. There is a $5 admission charge which is allows access to all of the grounds.

Glen Helen Members Show

My art quilt "Three Trees" plus two of my fabric mosaics are in the Glen Helen Association Members' 6th Annual Art Exhibition will be in the Glen Building Atrium Gallery, 405 Corry St. in Yellow Springs. This show goes through Feb. 28 and the building is open Mon.-Fri. from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm and Sat.-Sun. from 10 am to 4 pm.

The opening reception is this Sun., Jan. 8 from 2-4 pm.
