"Three Pines", 6" x 6" x 1", handmade by Pam Geisel, 2016
In fact, all four of the fabrics that I used were from the Holiday Happenings collection, and they're not overly Holiday-themed themselves, which is why I like them. They can be used for pieces that can be enjoyed year-round.
Like the minis I made back in March and April, this one is 6" x 6" and wrapped around a small canvas frame. I think I'll be making more of these!
The green and brown fabrics are raw edge applique on the cream fabric and a funky green yarn was couched around the outline of the trees. I quilted with cream-colored fabric 1/4" from the edge of the trees and the tree trunks.

I really like they way you wrapped this around a canvas frame! What a great look! True fabric art! Also like the way you created the trees. All very nice!
Pam, That is really cool. Wrapping around canvas is just a super alternative to quilted wall hangings!

This is beautiful! I would love to see a whole group of them! :)
LOVE your framed holiday art quilt!! I made my first quilt-wrapped canvas not too long ago. What did you do for the back? I only ask because the back of mine is a mess.
