It's Owl Good

"It's Owl Good" framed fabric piece handmade by Pam Geisel in December 2024

There's a new lobby show up at Village Artisans and it's called "Black & White + 1." The challenge was to make a piece that had the colors black and white then one third color of the artist's choice.

I looked through my stash of black and white fabrics and found a small bit of Robert Kaufman's Effervescence (Gradation Gray) which also had a bit of brown in it, so with brown as my third color I made this great horned owl and framed it for the show.

The lobby show can be seen at Village Artisans, 100 Corry St. in Yellow Springs, Ohio, through March 5, 2025 M-Th 11-5, F-Sa 11-6, and Su noon-5.
